Overview

Description

You don’t need an expensive tool to create smoked cocktails. Bittercube’s Cocktail Cedars are an exceptional way to create smoked drinks and flamed citrus peels. Our cocktail cedars are sourced from the highest-grade Spanish cedar. With minimal amounts of oil and resin, they ensure a clean burn of approximately 20-30 seconds. Each package includes 10 cedar sticks. TO SMOKE A GLASS For drinks like Old Fashioneds and Manhattans, ignite a cocktail cedar and invert a glass over the flame until it fills with smoke (Note: Use a flame-resistant surface). When the cocktail is ready, quickly strain into the smoked glass. TO FLAME CITRUS PEELS Light the cedar and place citrus peel under flame. After a few seconds, squeeze citrus oils through the flame to produce a burst of flavor.

BittercubeEstablished 2009

Bittercube Bitters are created in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, by hand with real ingredients. No pre-made extracts or flavors (natural or artificial) are used in our slow-crafted products. Our mission is to create innovative, densely flavored bitters through thoughtful sourcing, meticulous production, and ongoing research - and to inspire elevated drinking experiences. Bittercube was founded in 2009 by two bartenders with a shared vision for what bold & balanced bitters could be. With that goal in mind, they set out to produce the most distinctive lineup of bitters in the world. Over the last decade, the company has built relationships with farmers, botanical suppliers, bartenders, and foodies across the globe, and continues to innovate with new flavors, collaborations, business lines and services. Over the years, Bittercube has been featured in the New York Times, Martha Stewart’s Everyday Food, Playboy, Imbibe Magazine, Timeout, Bon Appétit, Chicago Tribune, Bloomberg BusinessWeek, GO – AirTran Inflight Magazine, Southwest Magazine, NPR, and Daily Candy, among many other publications.
