We’re Eric and JD, founders of Modica! We met when we were working full-time jobs and taking hours of night classes to earn our MBAs. At the end of those (very) long days, we wanted to unwind with a drink. Eric wanted and Old Fashioned while JD preferred a non-alcoholic option. We were too tired to make anything from scratch, but the mixers we found in stores were loaded with artificial ingredients and wayyy too much sugar! Eric has 15 years of mixology experience and he’s opened several bars and restaurants, so we decided to make the mixers we wanted to buy! We wanted to create something inclusive because whether you drink alcohol or not, you deserve something delicious! And we’ve seen an incredible response — we’re the most viral cocktail and mocktail mixer on Instagram (@drinkmodica) and we’ve won Product of the Year from Food & Beverage Magazine and a ton of medals from other competitions. We use all-natural ingredients, no preservatives, and up to 70% less sugar than other mixers. Mixing instructions are on the back of every bottle for a classic cocktail, a pitcher of cocktails, and a non-alcoholic mocktail. We have a ton of recipes on our website, and every bottle makes 10+ drinks so you can experiment and find something you really love, whether that includes alcohol or not!
