Potatoes, Grass-fed Ghee, Sea Salt, Black Truffle Concentrate, and Black Truffle [Tuber Aestivum]
Learn about Ghips
Shop the brand
Eat Different. Ghips are potato chips fried in grass-fed ghee. Not sunflower oil, not canola, not "high oleic" anything — ghee, from grass-fed Australian cows, which is how chips were made before the food industry found something cheaper. The Sea Salt is three ingredients: certified organic potatoes, grass-fed ghee, salt. That's it. Churro adds cinnamon and sugar. Black Truffle adds real black truffle. Nothing else goes in any of them. We started Ghips because the better-for-you snack aisle had quietly become a seed oil aisle with nicer packaging. We wanted a chip that didn't need a paragraph of qualifiers — one you'd be happy to eat and happy to hand to someone else. WHAT BUYERS SHOULD KNOW Case of 18 x 5 oz bags, $13.00 retail, 43% margin. Three flavors: Sea Salt, Churro, Black Truffle. Sea Salt is the volume driver. Black Truffle is the one that gets picked up as a gift. Where it works: premium and specialty snack sets, not the standard chip aisle. Black Truffle performs near cheese and charcuterie. Churro does well on an endcap or at the register. AAPI-owned. Not sold on Amazon. Samples available — ask and we'll send them.
