Terra di Bari Castel del Monte DOP Extra Virgin Olive Oil made with olives surrounding the Castel del Monte near Bari, in Puglia southern Italy.
Galantino’s intensely fruity Terra di Bari–Castel del Monte DOP Extra Virgin Olive Oil is produced by cold extraction only from olives hand-picked in the region north of Bari. Towns in this rural area include Bisceglie, Andria, Trani, Corato and Barletta. The main olive varietal is Coratina (80%) with other olives native to the region comprising the remainder.
It is green in color with yellow reflections. Its full fruit character is complemented by lingering bitter and spicy notes that are typical of southern Italian olive oils.
