Overview

Description

Captivated by the ruby-red allure of freshly picked cherries, I envisioned a sauce that would capture the essence of their tangy tartness and succulent sweetness. Cherries possess a tantalizing complexity that defies conventional explanation. In my quest to infuse the sauce with layers of flavor and complexity, I turned to the fragrant embrace of sage. Its herbaceous aroma and peppery notes added a touch of sophistication to the sauce, lending it a depth of flavor. I then introduced the delicate yet distinctive flavor of caraway seeds. With their subtle hints of citrus and warm, nutty undertones, the caraway seeds brought a harmonious balance to the sauce. With the heat of the habaneros, it's truly bold and beautiful! Pairs beautifully with seared pork chops, drizzled over a bed of goat cheese and arugula, or as a hot addition to a cherry pie.

Tannenbaum FoodsEstablished 2020

Tannenbaum's Botanical Hot Sauces feature real fruit as the foundation of a truly unique and versatile hot sauce. Flavor takes precedent over heat. It is hot enough to satisfy anyone seeking heat, but not so hot that it overpowers the taste. Tannenbaum's sauces are all natural, vegan and gluten free in four fruit-forward flavors: Blueberry, Pineapple, Red Pepper and Strawberry that go equally well on ice cream and pancakes as they do in chili and on tacos. I love spicy foods! The best part is that back of the mouth warmth and the lick-your-lips flavor after a meal. What is less satisfying is that initial burn that feels like your tongue is on fire. But it is hard to find that hot sauce with the right balance of heat of flavor. Too little heat and flavor doesn't last. Too much heat and you can't taste anything anyway. I wanted a hot sauce to cook with to add flavor with ruining the dish with too much heat. To get the right balance I started using real fruit to elevate the flavor and found that the fruit perfectly balanced the heat of the habanero peppers. What started out as an experiment turned into a hot sauce that everyone can enjoy. The best thing about Tannenbaum's is that it adds depth and flavor to any dish without that over the top burn. With Tannenbaum's, cooks don't need to change they way they cook. Just add some Tannenbaum's to enhance the flavor of any dish. It is that easy.
