Description

A tangy, spicy, and slightly sweet shrub (drinking vinegar) designed for your next Bloody Mary or Michelada. Fire cider is a traditional fall herbal remedy made with warming plants and spices like onion, garlic, horseradish, and chili peppers, designed to bolster immunity. Here we combined it with fresh crushed local roma tomatoes and sweetened it with a hint of local wildflower honey to combine forces with the flavor profile of a Bloody Mary mix. Option to keep it spirit free by just adding sparkling water or NA beer, or get creative and use as a salad dressing in combo with extra virgin organic olive oil! Makes 8 drinks All 8oz mixers and shrubs include a recipe suggestion on the side label as well as a suggested ratio for a spirit free spritz (usually a 1:5). Pairs well with our Chili Hibiscus finishing Salt. Made it part with local farmers + purveyors: Longer Table Farm, Nana Mae's, Oshala Farm, Gipsons Golden.

Land + Local is a woman owned company based in Sonoma County, CA crafting small batch botanical mixers and shrubs that celebrate seasonality and place. All our products feature hyper-seasonal and locally sourced, organically grown ingredients directly from our farmer friends and purveyors in Northern California and Pacific Northwest. The company was founded by chef and herbalist Kim LaVere, with a passion for bringing the benefits back to the kitchen and cocktails. All our mixers and shrubs contain beneficial doses of herbs and fruits that we extract from whole fresh fruits and botanicals. We believe in clean ingredients and no fake stuff, so we do not use any artificial ingredients or preservatives. Our mixers are delicious combined with sparkling water as a spirit-free spritz, or replaced 1:1 for simple syrup in craft cocktails. The product line is rounded out with tea blends, bitters blends, and cocktail salts.
