Description
Rugger’s Rooibos (pronounced “Roy-boss”, and sometimes referred to as “red tea”) is one of our favorite botanicals. Rooibos tea is one of the most antioxidant-rich beverages in the world, and the cup has a sweet, vanilla-tinged flavor. The liquor brews up dark red, with a deep, rich body unlike any other herbal tea we know. The experience is earthy and deeply calming.
Rooibos is endemic to western South Africa. Just north of Cape Town is the region of Cederberg, where you’ll find rooibos growing wild in the mountains.
