Montadero Chocolate was born to preserve the family tradition of our grandmother, who as children made us chocolate with cocoa that they grew on a family farm located in the Montadero sector of Isabela. Our grandmother continued the past family tradition of her father Don Fermín. This is how Montadero Chocolate was born, committed to a quality product, using fine and aromatic cocoa, and the best ingredients to ensure the best consumer experience. Our Cocoa is purchased directly from the farmer, thus entering the Fare Trade market. We are dedicated to making “single origin” artisanal chocolates using Puerto Rican cocoa selected from among the best 50 cocoas in the world in small batches with aromas and rich chocolate flavor with hints of coffee, citrus and banana.
