Loraine, a chef by trade who has sampled countless cookies throughout her life, found her inspiration at a summer party in the form of a rosemary shortbread. Intrigued by its unique flavor, she began experimenting in her kitchen and eventually perfected a recipe that earned the approval of her family. Although her cookies were already well-loved by her catering clients, it was at her youngest son’s summer job that they truly began to shine. Blake frequently shared his mother’s cookies with coworkers, and soon enough, they became a hit. Recognizing the cookies' growing popularity, Loraine decided to expand production and explore new flavors. What started as a homegrown treat evolved into Blake’s Mother’s Cookies, a brand now serving stores across Pennsylvania, New York, Delaware, and New Jersey—still handcrafted, and always family-approved.
