Foodservice plastic pail with handle. Made with EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL. Ready to elevate your flavor game? Meet Ronnie's Giardiniera®, a small-batch, handcrafted, Chicago style condiment with a bold kick that transforms any dish into a culinary adventure. Made with fresh, never-frozen, non-GMO peppers, crisp vegetables, and a symphony of spices and herbs—all bathed in rich, extra virgin olive oil—this isn't just a topping, it's an experience. Ronnie's Giardiniera® is The Missing Condiment® that you never knew you needed! The "Original" is made of NINE different peppers (some hot, some sweet) along with other vegetables and spices. It will have a heat level around 6/10. It's a well-balanced, perfect amount of heat that won't jolt you out of your chair but hangs around just long enough... No doubt though, it'll give you a little nudge to let you know that it's there. Pronounced "jar-din-air-uh" ("jar-din-air" or "giard" if you're a true Chicagoan), it is originally from Italy and typically served as an antipasto. Once it hit Chicago in the early 1900s it was diced up into smaller pieces and placed onto Italian Beef sandwiches. Over 100 years later, it has become a limitless condiment... and now this versatile gem is your go-to for everything from cheeseburgers to pizza, pasta to eggs, tacos, salmon, avocado & toast or even salads. Try it on sourdough, bagels, or dip into it with tortilla chips... The possibilities are endless - Add the flavor your dishes are craving! We offer two irresistible versions of Ronnie's Giardiniera®: the Original, delivering a perfectly balanced mild-to-medium heat at a 6/10, and Rovente, our bold and hot option with an 8/10 heat level. Can't decide? Try them both or mix them together for a custom kick that’s uniquely yours!

Ronnie's GiardinieraEstablished 2024

The best condiment you've ever had! Ronnie's Giardiniera® (jar-din-air-uh) is a small-batch, Chicago-style Italian condiment with a satisfying kick that transforms any dish into a culinary adventure. It’s made of fresh cut, never frozen, non-GMO hot peppers, sweet peppers, vegetables (onions, celery, garlic, olives, carrots, cauliflower) and spices in extra virgin olive oil. Giardiniera, originally from Italy, means “from the garden” and we call it The Missing Condiment®… Whether layered on sandwiches, added to eggs, topped onto cheeseburgers, mixed into hummus, garnished onto sausages and hot dogs, or spread on a pizza, Ronnie's Giardiniera® will elevate all of your meals. And as a bonus, the leftover oil has been infused with the flavors of giardiniera so it’s perfect for sautéing, marinating or dipping breads. Ronnie's Giardiniera® is The Missing Condiment® — use it on anything! We offer two irresistible versions and five sizes of Ronnie's Giardiniera®: 🫑 The Original, delivering a perfectly balanced mild-to-medium heat at a 6/10. Sizes: 9 ounce, 16 ounce, 1/2 gallon, 1 gallon, 2 gallon 🌶️ The Rovente, our hot giardiniera with an 8/10 heat level. Sizes: 9 ounce, 16 ounce 🇮🇹 Can't decide? Try them both or mix them together for a custom flavor that’s uniquely yours! How Did This Happen? Chicago has a way of staying with you... I learned that the hard way. After moving from Chicago to San Diego, then back home, then Los Angeles, back home, Florida, home, Seattle, home, etc., etc.—with plenty of miles in between—I kept running into the same problem. Every city had amazing food... but none of them had Chicago. Square-cut thin crust pizza with a sweet sauce? Impossible to find. A proper Chicago-style hot dog with mustard and sport peppers? Forget it. An Italian beef piled high with giardiniera? Almost nonexistent. No matter where I lived, I was chasing the flavors I grew up with. Eventually, I realized I had two choices: keep searching for Chicago... or build it myself. So I got to work. It started with pizza. I spent countless hours recreating the sweet sauce from my favorite neighborhood pizzeria. Once that was right, I developed my own thin-crust dough. Then came the cheese. I imported cheese from Wisconsin, shredded it myself, and blended three different varieties until every bite tasted like home. The pizza was finally there. But something was still missing. The one ingredient that brought everything together. The condiment that belonged on pizza, Italian beefs, sandwiches, eggs, burgers—just about everything. Giardiniera. That's when everything changed. I wasn't just trying to recreate Chicago for myself anymore. I wanted to introduce the rest of the country to what I believe is The Missing Condiment™. What I thought would take a few months turned into more than a decade of experimenting, tasting, tweaking, and starting over. Batch after batch, friends and family kept asking for more. They told me I had something special. They were right. In 2022, I began researching what it would take to turn that passion into a real business. There were plenty of challenges, a few false starts, and a lot of lessons along the way. But eventually the right team came together, and in 2024 Ronnie's Giardiniera officially became a reality. Today, every jar represents more than vegetables, peppers, olive oil, and spices. It represents Chicago. It represents family, persistence, and the belief that great food deserves to be shared. Whether you're a lifelong Chicagoan searching for a taste of home or you're discovering giardiniera for the very first time, I hope every bite brings you the same excitement that inspired this journey. Welcome to Ronnie's Giardiniera. — Ronnie
