Overview

Description

Our newest release comes from an exquisite species of rose we source directly from the Dadés Valley of Morocco. The Damask rose is believed to have originated in the Middle East, and made its way centuries ago to North Africa. There it found a perfect climate in the desert oasis of the Dadés Valley, now referred to as The Rose Valley We import whole, organic rose buds from a women's coop and blend them to a fine powder that we mix with fair trade cane sugar. Grinding the rose buds in small batches results in the most vibrant aroma. These famous roses boast a dense, sweet flavor. Combined with the caramel notes of the cane sugar, this blend is an astounding floral experience that is unique and original and not overly perfumed. Use to macerate fruit, rim cocktails, add to lemonade, sugar cookies, shortcakes or sprinkle over grilled pork chops made with our Rose Harissa. Perfect for all things Fall, Fall Decor, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Also a great stocking stuffer!
