Description

KaPow! Ginkgo Brain Tea shows off ginkgo leaf (a traditional remedy for mental clarity and memory) in a new and delicious light. The blend starts with oolong tea and sweet peaches, for a deliciously smooth and sweet first impression. Ginkgo leaf itself tastes musky–sweet, with a piney back end, making it a natural fit in oolong tea territory. Then we add our signature holy basil blend (or tulsi), with its own rich flavors and potential health benefits. Finally, sage leaf plays an unusually understated, unifying role. You may associate sage with hearty foods, but in this context, sage melds with the delicate peach sweetness, adding a bright, almost minty quality to the cup. We blended this tea for great flavor, and to kick your mental activity into gear! Not only is ginkgo said to help with memory, it’s also a living fossil. Drink Kapow! hot for an invigorating yet calming cup, or drink it cold in summer for a slightly sweet treat. The caffeine content remains on the low side, with oolong tea comprising about 1/3 of the recipe, and caffeine-free botanicals the remaining 2/3.

Lake Missoula Tea CompanyEstablished 2012

Our mission is to bring you direct-sourced, premium loose leaf teas from around the world. Since 2012, we have traveled all over the globe and built strong relationships with farms we source from today. These trips allow us to build a sustainable, organic source of quality teas from farms working at the village scale. Despite being relatively inaccessible due to their remote, wildland settings, we’ve witnessed the establishment of a workforce – pickers, processors, and farmhands – helping drive local economic development. These personal relationships show how stewardship and tea quality go hand in hand.
