Why We Created Andreina As I grew older, I noticed something changing. Many of my friends were choosing to drink less or not at all: for health, for clarity, for pregnancy, for personal reasons. But they missed the ritual. They missed having something special in their glass during celebrations. They missed feeling fully part of the gathering. I tried many non-alcoholic wines. Most were disappointing: thin, overly sweet, nothing like the wines Nonna Andreina would have served. They tasted like compromise, like settling for less. I knew there had to be a better way. If we could preserve what makes Tuscan wine extraordinary - the terroir, the craftsmanship, the soul - while removing only the alcohol, we could create something meaningful. It took a lot of research, partnerships with innovative winemakers, and the discovery of Aroma Capture Technology before we finally tasted what would become Andreina. When we did, we knew: this was the wine Nonna would have been proud to serve.
