Overview

Description

Coriander blossom raw honey is golden amber colour, specific taste and mild aroma, which is levied two weeks after extraction. It’s a very rare type of honey. The nectar of coriander is highly dependent on weather conditions and usually the plant produces it every five to six years. And even then, the production is low. As a rule, a hive can give about 20 to 25 kilos of multi-floral honey, and only 2 kilos of coriander honey. As a result, this type of honey is rare and expensive.

Edinburgh Honey CoEstablished 2017

Our Story – Edinburgh Honey Co. For three generations, our family has cared for bees the traditional way – patiently, respectfully, and always in harmony with nature. What began with a few hives and a deep love for beekeeping has grown into Edinburgh Honey Co., a proud family business based in the heart of Scotland. We specialise in raw, unprocessed honey – harvested gently, never pasteurised, and always true to its natural flavour. From the purple hills of Scottish heather to the orchards and wildflower meadows of our apiaries, every jar is a taste of the landscapes our bees call home. But honey is only part of our story. We also craft artisanal infusions, pairing raw honey with whisky, rose petals, turmeric, and gingerbread spices – flavours that celebrate both Scottish tradition and global inspiration. Alongside, we create pure beeswax candles and soaps, made with the same care for quality and sustainability. As a zero-waste, plastic-free company, we believe in leaving the world better than we found it. Every jar, candle, and gift set is created with respect for the bees, the land, and the generations to come. At Edinburgh Honey Co., our mission is simple: to share the purest honey and the joy of beekeeping with the world – one golden spoonful at a time.
