Overview

Description

Sandeep traveled to the most remote corners of India to bring back vibrant-flavored Alphonso Mangoes and Organic Smoked Ghost Pepper. We couldn't NOT make a hot sauce! This killer combo highlights each ingredient for sweet and tangy flavor that leaves you wanting more without being intensely hot. These deeply sweet alphonso mangoes lend this sauce a luscious, velvety-smooth texture and multi-layered sweetness to balance the heat. This hot sauce is more than just spicy, it's decadent. A little goes a long way. For some of you, several drops will do the trick; for others, just a drop or two is all you need. Start small, and work your way up to what’s right for you. In fact, chili pepper fans already know that ghost peppers are among the hottest chili peppers in the world, topping more than 1 million Scoville units of SERIOUS heat! These not-so-innocent North Indian beauties can either light your fire or flat-out make you cry.

Pure Indian FoodsEstablished 2008

Founded in 2008 by husband and wife, Sandeep and Nalini Agarwal, Pure Indian Foods is an artisanal maker of grass-fed organic ghee products. The company offers a complete line of sustainably-sourced, non-GMO organic curry sauces, organic spices and herbs, and organic Ayurveda products. We created the concept of "Grassfed & Organic" Ghee back in 2008, were featured in NY Times in 2010, and were the first ghee company to get Whole30 approval back in 2011. The ghee side of the business is actually 130 years old, started in 1889, spanning five generations. We make it fresh in small batches in stainless steel equipment in New Jersey, using the milk of cows raised in the USA. Our organic spices and grocery products are mostly sourced from small farms in India. We support small communities as much as possible.
