Meet Tennessee Bob (aka Robert D. Vasvary), creator of Rancho Del Fuego Hot Sauces and the whimsical book series The Pepper People of Rancho Del Fuego, Attack of the Killer Iguanas, and The Condor’s Condo. Set on a magical Ecuadorian farm, these stories follow the quirky lives of pepper characters as they navigate run-ins with unfriendly neighbors and everyday misadventures. Robert, an electrical engineer and telecom consultant, lives in Boca Raton, Florida, with his wife Nicolina (Lady Fingers) and son Ethan (Dragon’s Breath). The family often spends time in Nicolina’s hometown of Quito, Ecuador—an inspiration for both the books and hot sauces. Beyond fiction, Vasvary is the author of the teen novel The Big House, a contributor to The Bowers House Writers Group anthologies, and runs a blog at RobertVasvary.com. He’s also a blues harmonica player, disc jockey, gardener, and chef.
