Roundly sweet with musky and floral nuance, our Cara Cara Orange Olive Oil is pressed from fresh, whole California Cara Cara Oranges, organically grown on Blossom Bluff Orchard. Cara Cara Mia, a play on "My Dear" in Italian reflects just how much affection with have for this orange variety and its exquisite blush-colored olio. Pairs with peppery salad greens, roasted beets, gorgonzola and feta cheese, and bacon. Cara Cara Mia is what the olio industry likes to call a "co-mill", where we mill fresh, whole, organic Cara Cara Oranges with just-harvested Arbequina olives, to create a pure citrus-olive oil that reveals the complexity and nuance of each fruit.
