In 2019, our Founder Blake Overholt packed up his truck on a busy San Francisco street, his new puppy, with a dream. Set out with a vision to build a regenerative farm on his family's ancestral homestead in Gloucester, Virginia. Founded in 1884 by his great-great grandfather on his mother’s side, Elm Grove Farm is a family owned & operated business by Young Overholt. Blake’s Father, Alan, is often seen felling trees & hewing logs, building out the farm. The farm is home to a growing herd of 100% grass-fed, pasture-raised Wagyu Angus cows, Nigerian Fainting goats, heritage chickens, & turkeys. Blake’s Mother, Julie, who’s family started the homestead over 140 years ago. At the root of Young Overholt is a desire to honor the past while creating the healthiest future for those we love. Driven by our core tenants of sustenance, regeneration & legacy, we strive to provide the most wholesome food & skincare products for your family. We do this through the implementation of regenerative farming practices, continuing to build a lasting legacy that will leave a positive impact on our customers & the Earth.
