Patricia and David Beets founded their popcorn spice business in the wake of the 2008 recession, when work forced them to live apart. The couple started to cook over Skype, a way to share food and stories about their day. In September of 2012, David quit his day job at an engineering firm and now runs the business full-time. Patricia is a full-time journalist, and works with David on their small family business that is a passion for both of them. In the summer of 2021, Dell Cove® is launching a new recycling program for eco-friendly consumers to give its packaging a second life and help clean up the planet.
