Java Oolong comes in two rolled leaf styles, medium and light roast. The medium roast oolong’s aroma is roasty with hints of honey, like a Da Hong Pao, or Big Red Robe, style oolong. The light roast offers fruit and floral notes. Brew both teas multiple times. This organic oolong grows high up in the beautiful, steep mountains of southern Java, Indonesia. This Java tea grows on a small-scale, artisan tea farm, where locals from the nearby village hand-pick and process it. The tea farm is nestled at the top of the mountain, with tremendous views of the ocean and the adjacent Mount Halimun Salak National Park.
