I grew up on a farm in Iowa in a big family (13 siblings!) where the oven was always on and Sunday nights meant coming together around the table for a family meal that featured Mom’s sweets. Helping my mother in the kitchen was an opportunity for one-on-one time, and I inherited her love of baking, entering and winning hundreds of State Fair baking competitions. Those special memories (and blue ribbons!) inspired the creation of Sunday Night Sauces.
