Raising my two kids across Japan, Singapore, and Indonesia, I was always searching for the most delicious local food nature had to offer to feed their growing appetites, and in Jakarta, our family home for over two decades, I discovered the game-changer: tempeh. This tasty, nutritious, and readily available ingredient, along with other plant-based Asian foods like natto and tofu, became a staple in every meal I cooked, reflecting the local culture's wisdom regarding the health of both ourselves and the environment. With my kids all grown up, I decided to share my love for tempeh with the world by experimenting in my kitchen, where, after countless hours of trial and error (earning me the nickname "mad scientist" from my kids!), I perfected the art of making tempeh chips that are delicious, healthy, and convenient; thus, Mamame was born out of my passion for good food and a desire to introduce others to the magic of tempeh, and I'm so excited to share my big love with you, hoping you love it as much as I do. - Alvina, Founder & CEO
