Ziba Foods is an artisanal food company that specializes in heirloom and wild-grown dried fruits and nuts from the mineral-rich valleys of Afghanistan. Our focus is on introducing unique products distinguished by their superior quality and flavor. We are a social enterprise with a focus on providing sustainable impact to marginalized communities, particularly for women and farmers in Afghanistan. Our dried fruits and nuts are grown without the use of chemicals or pesticides, and with stable water supplies in multi-generational family farms and village cooperatives. Our heirloom products are varieties passed down through generations with little human interference, and our wild-grown products have historically been available only to the most resourceful foragers. Our products contain no sulfites, preservatives, or additives (with the exception of a light dusting of Afghan salt on select dry roasted & salted products).
