Mr. Hot T, a former bartender, was passionate about experimenting with spicy recipes, especially his beloved Bloody Marys, Micheladas, and Spicy Margaritas. His affinity for heat extended to mealtime, where he crafted fiery sauces to elevate every dish, much to Mrs. Hot T’s bewilderment. Curious about his obsession, she learned it originated from childhood, with his father introducing him to Tabasco as a punishment for swearing. Determined to fuel his passion, she gifted him a hot sauce making kit for his birthday, sparking their journey into sauce creation. Embarking on a road trip from the San Diego to Mississippi, up to Philly, then over to Ohio, they refined recipes along the way. Returning to Hawaii, the Hot Ts wasted no time in translating their mainland adventures into a business venture. Drawing inspiration from the island’s vibrant flavors and local produce, they crafted six signature sauces, each a testament to their journey. With a motto that echoed their ethos— “make it with Aloha and make it burn!”—they set out to share their creations with the world.
