Our Story What began as a family affair soon grew into a thriving business, as friends and family urged us to produce larger batches of our beloved salsas. Underworld Feast officially launched June/2022, but its roots stretch back much further. Salsa has always been a cherished staple in our home, and our love for experimentation has led us to perfect unique recipes over the years. Each one has been shared, tested, and refined with friends and family using only the freshest, all-natural ingredients to ensure quality and vibrant flavor. Our Inspiration The name "Underworld Feast" and our branding draw inspiration from one of the founders, Lucía. Affectionately called "Lucifer" by her children whenever she was particularly fiery, we decided to honor that spirit in our first salsa. From there, our concept evolved, inspired by Dante Alighieri’s The Divine Comedy. We set out to create nine distinct salsas, each representing a level of hell, inviting our customers to take the "Tour of Hell" through the varying heat levels of our gourmet salsas. Our Commitment to Quality At Underworld Feast, we provide the highest-quality salsas, made with the freshest ingredients, without preservatives, and using only premium components. We source ingredients locally whenever possible, ensuring that our salsas are not only delicious but also sustainable and environmentally friendly. While our branding may have a fiery theme, we’re not just about heat—we focus on flavor. We offer a range of salsas that cater to all preferences. From our mild, flavorful options to our spicier blends for the more daring, there’s something for everyone. Our Growth We began commercial production in June 2022 and quickly established a strong local presence, attending festivals and farmers markets, as well as launching our e-commerce site, underworldfeast.com.
