The inspiration for this business was my great-grandmother, Nanny Dot, and some of her unique Pennsylvania Dutch recipes. It was two years ago when my grandmother found Nanny Dot’s handwritten recipes—treasured notes that were thought to have been lost after her passing. When the family saw them, they told me how much they would love to taste those recipes again. I’m happy to now have the opportunity to share Nanny Dot’s recipes with a whole new group of people who will appreciate her unique products just as much as we always have.
