Filthy got started for two reasons. One: We believe a snack should be an actual snack. Most "better-for-you" brands make a trade: clean label, sad chip. We don't. We make actual potato chips that people will actually buy again and again. We aren't using some strange ingredient most people have never heard of. We just use better ingredients—non-GMO potatoes, kettle-cooked in 100% avocado oil instead of cheap seed oils, and tossed with real spices like aleppo pepper, maple sugar, and real vinegar. They're naturally gluten-free, and we let the chip do the rest. Two: We think business should be better for you, too. We are a Public Benefit Corporation and a 1% for the Planet member. One percent of all our revenue goes right back to helping keep waterways clean, exactly the way we got to experience them growing up on the Jersey Shore.
