Dam Good® English Muffins is a women-owned, family-operated brand based in Peekskill, NY, that was influenced by a serendipitous encounter with a discarded English muffin container that we found on the ground while on a walk one day -- this mundane and overlooked container symbolized the stagnant English muffin category -- An unspoken plea for reinvention! So as we embarked on our journey, inspired by a homemade sourdough English muffin from a friend, the mission was clear -- reinvent the ordinary! We're doing just that with our naturally fermented sourdough starter, a unique square-shape, a clean-label, plant-based ingredients and no industrial seed oils. As a result of our products having no artificial preservatives, we typically recommend that our English muffins are sold frozen to maintain ultimate freshness. Once toasted, they’re crispy on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside and full of that amazing unique texture of peaks and valleys that makes an English muffin so iconic.
