2lbs yellow butterfly popcorn kernels / 9 per box. The same kernels we grow and pop! Each box is 7"x4"x3" At last we can now offer you our wonderful BjornQorn fine popcorn kernels to make at home for after school snacks or late night movies! The kernels are Non-Gmo Project Verified and grown on Bjorn's family farm in Minnesota or one of our partner farms in New York's Hudson Valley. You can know which farm it came from by looking at the lot number on the bottom of the box. The first two letters are the farm the the second two are the harvest year. "MN" = Bjorn's family farm in Minnesota "KF" = Kelder's Farm in New York "FH" = Hudson Valley Farm Hub in New York Currently we are boxing our MN20 harvest which was maybe the best harvest we've ever had, but we're really excited to move into Kelder's and Hudson Valley Farm Hub's harvests. There are differences farm to farm in terms of size, color and texture even starting from the same seed.

Two college friends started BjornQorn as a collaboration between a corn farmer's son and an artist and inventor. Bjorn took his homegrown popcorn and family farm recipe and popped it with Jamie's solar cooking contraptions. They built the results into a solar powered popcorn factory that supplies food co-ops and specialty stores in the northeast and nationwide. All their flavors are vegan and gluten. Their best selling flavor, now known as 'Classic', is seasoned with nutritional yeast and salt. It is notoriously addictive. Bon Appétit referred to its seasoning as ' like some sort of healthyish—but no less potent—Dorito dust." BjornQorn's factory resides inside Skate Time Roller Rink in Accord, NY. It's a Willy Wonka-esque wonderland, with a roller rink and solar powered popcorn factory all under one roof.
