Overview

Description

Meet Midnight Crunch— our first-ever triple-blend dark chocolate bar— silky, crunchy, and deeply satisfying. Crafted with Trinitario and Arriba Nacional cacao and finished with crunchy Criollo cocoa nibs, this 68% rich dark chocolate unfolds with notes of burnt caramel, vanilla, molasses, and a smooth nutty richness. Created in celebration of our 19th anniversary,  this bar honors the flavor, craftsmanship, and Direct Trade relationships that have defined us from the beginning. It’s a nod to our roots (and original nibble bars, IYKYK) and a tribute to the evolution of deep partnerships with cocoa farmers across the globe.  This irresistibly crunchy chocolate bar is certified Kosher D.E., vegan and gluten-free. Askinosie ChocolateEstablished 2007

Askinosie Chocolate is one of the original American craft chocolate makers, founded in 2005. We're a Father/Daughter family business with less than 30 employees known for making award-winning (75+ and counting!) chocolate and pioneering Direct Trade in the chocolate industry. We make single origin dark, milk and white chocolate bars—plus chocolate covered snacks—with minimal processing and ingredients. We're passionate about regenerative agriculture, sustainability and transparency. Our team of 8 chocolate makers roasts, tempers, molds and packages all of our chocolate by hand in our micro-factory in Springfield, MO. Shawn Askinosie, Founder & CEO, travels to each of our four origins yearly to work with farmers, inspect our next crop of beans and share profits with our farmer partners who we feature on our packaging. We publish our annual transparency report on our website, where we detail how much in total we've paid to our smallholder cocoa farmer partners, including profit shares. Our aim is to make the best-tasting chocolate possible—and that the more you and your customers learn about it, the better you feel about it.
