Chip Valley Foods, makers of Chip Magnet salsas, was established in 2011 as a farmers market company. That first summer, our products were sold in 10 weekly farmers markets throughout Wisconsin and Minnesota. But it was soon realized that the brand had gained so much popularity that a pivot out of farmers markets and into retail grocery was the next move. Production was then moved from a home kitchen into an automated facility, allowing sales volume to grow from a small regional brand into a brand sold in thousands of stores throughout the country.
